In the spring/summer of 2013 I have spent most of my time editing 5 programmes out of 10 for the second series of David Attenborough's Natural Curiosities for the Eden Channel. The first series (of which I edited 2 of the 5 programmes) was broadcast earlier this year, and received the highest audience figures that the channel have had so far. It's been a pleasure to once again work with the lovely production team at Humblebee films.
Deadly Pole to Pole
Pole to Pole is the latest in Steve Backshalls "Deadly 60" brand for CBBC. Having edited over 20 episodes of Deadly 60 over the last 3 years, it's a brand that is close to my heart & is always a busy but enjoyable edit. I love having the freedom to add my own 'style' to the edit. Fast cuts, my favourite funky tunes, wicked wildlife archive & the coolest visual effects that my FCP can handle. The production team always rustle up some great new footage & are a joy to work with.

DIY SOS
DIY SOS is a very successful British home improvement show on prime time BBC1. It has been running for 5 years already & is still going strong. The 5 week edit was a busy one, but I enjoyed every moment of it. The irreverent humour from the build team, & the heartfelt story of the family of a severely disabled girl who's house was being improved, made the edit an interesting balance of fun & emotion. By co-incidence this episode was filmed in the small town I grew up in, so I felt an extra special attachment to this project.
