I've spent the last 17 years editing many broadcast factual programmes for various TV stations including BBC1, BBC2, BBC3, CBBC, CBeebies, Channel 4, Nat Geo, Netflix, AppleTV, UKTV, Eden Channel & Discovery Asia. I've worked with David Attenborough, Steve Backshall & some of the BBC Natural History Unit's top producers. I use Avid, FCP, Premiere and I'm a fast, dedicated and creative editor with a good sense of humour. My years working as a professional editor have given me a solid grounding & invaluable knowledge of the TV industry. I also occasionally make short films and promos for businesses.
I'm a lover of travelling, skiing, snowboarding, wake boarding, mountain biking...generally having fun in the outdoors...I am inspired when I meet people who are passionate about our planet and want to enjoy it & protect it.

My Media Backstory
In 2004 I arrived in Bristol, UK, to start my editing career.
Bristol is home to the BBC's Natural History Unit, and it is known for producing many internationally renowned & award winning documentaries. Alongside nature films, it also has a high output of excellent Children's Television, cooking and antiques programmes.
I worked for a year as a runner for Films @ 59, Bristol's largest Post Production Facilities House.
In 2005 I started working as an Edit Assistant for the BBC, assisting in the making of observational documentaries such as Seaside Rescue, It's Not Easy Being Green, & Vet Safari.
In 2006 I went on location to South Africa with Vet Safari for a month...this was a huge education in what it takes to get a documentary into the edit.
In 2007 I edited my first broadcast programme, 'Meet The Immigrants' which was shown on BBC1 at 9pm in January 2008. I entered the freelance world as an offline editor for factual programmes.
In 2013 I decided to pursue some sideline work as an independent filmmaker, as a compliment to my editing work. I made short promo films for businesses with my Canon 7D. These include an introductory film for a wakeboarding cable park in Turkey, a promo for a new bar in Bristol, and a selection of mini travelogues for a travel website.
In 2016 my partner Will and I bought a derelict farmhouse in Slovenia. In our spare time we travel over to work on renovating it. It provides me with well needed screen breaks between my editing work. When in Slovenia I am only a short flight from Bristol and still available for edit bookings.
